Fix the pattern. Not just the pixel.

A crowded screen is often a sign of a deeper problem: the system has stopped making sense.

Look beyond the surface.

A one-off request can become another button, then another panel, then a workflow people have to memorize. The interesting design question is not just where the new thing goes. It is whether the existing structure still reflects how people work.

Make room for what comes next.

In the Job Details redesign, the aim was a framework that could support future workflows as well as the problems already in front of us. Information architecture, hierarchy, and prototypes gave us a way to explore that bigger picture.

Keep judgment in the loop.

Agents can help gather context and prepare material. They do not decide which problem matters, what tradeoffs are acceptable, or whether the experience is understandable. That is still design work.
